Field Product Manager (Idaho/Washington/Oregon)


If you love tech and working with partners in the field - this is the job for you

As a Prospera Field Product Manager, you will be managing most of the day-to-day interactions with our customers (growers, dealers, and agronomists), as well as with our regional partners at Valley Irrigation. You will be responsible for:

  • Collecting feedback from growers, dealers, and agronomists on our existing products, as well as new exploratory directions; Validate designs and ideas through usability testing and interviews.
  • Supporting the on-boarding process of new customers - provide training, create product marketing materials, and initiate activities that can push us towards our sales goals
  • Tracking product usage, identify gaps and suggest immediate actions to drive product adoption
  • Creating and maintaining close and trustful work relationships with our partners at Valley Irrigation and with our customers, to improve collaboration
  • Providing on-going product support to our US customers
  • Suggest new directions for products, based on interviews and exploration of the latest trends and technologies in the market.

You will be creating an annual plan for travels, events, and other field activities in order to achieve the above, and will work closely with multiple teams at Prospera & Valley on executing the plan.

Skills & Experience

BA/BS degree required in Agriculture, Engineering or other

2+ years experience in an Agtech company as Product Manager or similar position

Passionate about customer experience in the digital Ag space

Proven ability to work with and report to remote teams, while conveying crystal clear, relevant, and accurate messaging

Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and in presentations

Experiences in working first-hand with growers and Ag consultants on technology products

A go-getter, problem-solver, quick to respond

Yearly avg of 50% travel time (in peaks)

Agronomy background is highly preferred
